This work will be exhibited for sale with three other pieces at the Albert Park College Show from 16-18th October 2015.

These four small paintings are impressions of a place.
This is a track, in winter, in the Victorian Highlands, where I walk with my dogs.
The paintings are about our need for the poetry and amplitude of the natural environment, the value of moving through it, and the luxury of silence.
Rousseau once said; “Never did I think so much, exist so vividly, and experience so much—never have I been so much myself...as in the journeys I have taken alone and on foot.” In this demanding world, access to such time out becomes rarer as it becomes more necessary.
